My Hobbies

Trips

France, Ireland, Germany, Egypt, India

My first trip abroad took me to Paris, France as part of an exchange with my penpal, Julie Massenet, who has since become one of my closest friends (visit her personal website at la cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris).

Passions

Medieval literature, history of religion, drawing…and mystery video games

My taste for medieval literature and especially Arthurian romances emerged when at a young age I discovered Stephen R. Lawhead’s The Pendragon Cycle (see his official site). Later, I read with wonder the 10 volumes of the essential Le Morte d'Arthur by Sir Thomas Malory, which today remain my favorite books (see the electronic version).

Four years ago, a friend taught me how to draw, and although I’m not very talented yet, I cannot keep myself from illustrating my own travel diaries. Who knows? Perhaps I’ll publish them one day...

Sports

Volleyball, tennis
